Update, March 2026

Dear Expectant Saints,

God´s timing in our situations, in revealing truth, in provision and protection is always
astounding. That is the way I feel about this newsletter and what He wants to share
with you. We are sending photos to let you see us doing what we do and pressing on
in all kinds of activities, but God used a little girl to encapsulate the whole focus.
Kjersti has another testimony moment that God wants you to hear.

At school a 10-year-old girl asked if she could talk with me. It is her first year with
us, from an unchurched family. In her sweet, soft-spoken way, she shared her heart’s
grief over family problems and asked for prayer. After we presented her heart’s
troubles to the Lord, I felt Him nudging me to address and eradicate lies she was
believing.

I told her to ask Jesus, “What lie about myself is hurting my heart?” She
repeated the question and listened quietly for a moment. Suddenly her eyes widened,
and with surprising volume she cried, “I know what he said!”
She went on to tell me how a brother had, in a moment of anger, told her “You
are ugly. Nobody likes you. You don’t deserve to live and I wish you were dead.” She
added, “That hurt my heart.”

I did not have opportunity to be appalled, as she was so excited to have heard so
clearly. So I congratulated her on realizing those cruel words were a lie from the devil,
and we went to war breaking those horrible lies. As part of renouncing the lies, I told
her to imagine them like weeds in her heart and pull them out, handing them to Jesus.

Then I asked her to tell me what Jesus did with them.

“He’s ripping them to pieces!” she reported excitedly.

Then we asked Jesus what His truth is for her. Another quiet moment
passed, then she smiled radiantly. “He says I am very pretty. That others will like me.

He loves me! He created me to live and not die.”
I gave her a piece of paper and a box of markers to write down her precious
promises so she would not forget and could remind her heart every time she needed it.
He sets us free.

I recently read a timely “suggestion” this week in the midst of the craziness of the
world:

It’s time to withdraw a little from the clamor of urgencies, to quiet our heart, to enjoy
His silent embrace until the mind stops racing, then to listen and record fresh
revelation. “Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you.” (Jeremiah 30:2b)
Enjoy the Lord Himself for who He is, beyond our service to the Lord and to people, to
become a child in His presence in simplicity and solitude, to experience the wonders of
knowing our Creator in heart communion.

When was the last time you did this? Turned off all noise and visual stimuli around you
and just sat with Father? Not to petition Him for this, that or the other thing, but just
to sit with a quiet mind. It takes a few minutes to “turn off” the list of what needs to
be done today, the presumed offenses of yesterday, the wild, chaotic, mostly evil
information spewed out of the internet.

Just sit and breathe. Tell Him you SO appreciate His care and love for you. Breathe
deeply. Thank God for some of the people you treasure in your life. Smile. Relax.
Maybe ask Father what is on His heart. Write down what is important to Him. Thank
Him for always being with you, listening and responding. Declare with your voice what
the Lord means to you.

Some of you know that we have expanded the outreach of our mission. Kjersti and I
have taken courses and completed certificates for LIFE COACHING. That is what
Kjersti did with the little girl – who continued to beam the rest of the week. We have
seen life-changing results in adults as well. We do not know the answers to your
questions and pain, but Father God does. We simply want to help with asking the right
questions and hearing the answers directly from Him. If you are interested in this new
business venture please drop us a line. [email protected]

We want to share these moments with you to thank you for praying and supporting us
– you are more valuable to us and to God than you realize.

Together for the Kingdom,
Dave, Sharman and Kjersti Injerd
